Q: What will the weather be like?

A: February is a wonderful time to visit Southern Europe, with cool temperatures and fewer crowds than the peak summer season. Expect daytime highs generally ranging from 50–60°F (10–16°C) in Italy and the French Riviera, while evenings can be chilly. Paris is typically cooler, with temperatures around 40–50°F (4–10°C). We recommend packing layers, a warm jacket, comfortable walking shoes, and a small umbrella or rain jacket for occasional showers.

Q: Is this tour suitable for all fitness levels?

A: This tour is best suited for travelers with a moderate level of mobility. Many of Europe’s historic city centers feature cobblestone streets, uneven sidewalks, stairs, and extended periods of walking. While the pace is comfortable with regular breaks, participants should be able to walk several miles throughout the day and board and exit the motorcoach independently.

Q: Will there be free time to explore on our own?

A: Yes! While the tour includes guided sightseeing at many of Europe’s most iconic destinations, you’ll also have plenty of opportunities to explore independently. Highlights include:

  • Free day at the Venice Carnival
  • Free evening in Milan
  • Free evening in Turin
  • Full free day in Paris
  • Additional free time for shopping and dining throughout the itinerary

Your tour guide will also be happy to recommend restaurants, attractions, and hidden gems during your free time.

Q: Are all meals included in the tour?

A: Most meals are included throughout the tour, with daily breakfasts and the majority of lunches and dinners provided. A few lunches and dinners have been left free so you can experience local cuisine at your own pace, whether that’s fresh pasta in Bologna, seafood along the French Riviera, or pastries in Paris.

Please refer to the itinerary for the meals included each day.

Q: What kind of accommodations are included?

A: You’ll stay in comfortable 4-star hotels conveniently located near the cities you’ll be exploring. All hotels include private ensuite bathrooms, and many are within easy access of restaurants, shopping, and public transportation.

Q: Are flights included?

A: Yes, roundtrip international tickets from Honolulu are included in the Full Package. If you would like to arrange your own airfare or are interested in extending your dates in Europe, you can select the Land Package. Both Full Package and Land Package participants will receive domestic one-way tickets from Nice to Paris.

Q: How big are the tour groups?

A: This group is limited in size (24 participants) to ensure the best accommodations and restaurants, a comfortable pace, and personalized service from your guide and escort.
