Q: What will the weather be like?

A: Mid-October in this region is generally comfortable, mild, and ideal for sightseeing. Expect highs of ~70–74°F (21–23°C) during the day and lows of ~55–60°F (13–16°C) at night. Although this is not the rainy season in Japan, there is a possibility of light showers.


Q: Is this tour suitable for all fitness levels?

A: There are portions of this tour that take place in the mountainous regions of Shikoku or the hilly islands in the Seto Inland Sea. For that reason, guests should feel comfortable walking up stairs or slopes for short distances. Those not comfortable with an incline on any given day are also more than welcome to remain at the facilities at the entrance of these highlights, where there are often shops or cafes to enjoy.


Q: Will there be free time to explore on our own?

A: Yes. There are periods of unstructured time built into the itinerary, including a full free day in Osaka.


Q: Are all meals included in the tour?

A: The tour includes 26 exceptional meals: 10 breakfasts, 7 lunches, and 9 dinners. Meals during free time are on your own so you can explore local specialties at your own pace.
